Q – I have a Expert Declaration deadline of today. Can I “Declare” you as my expert in this case?
A – Our policy is that prior to being declared as an Expert, we must do sufficient work to allow us to arrive at some preliminary opinions in the matter. Declaring us without our having done any work, since you need to state in general what we will be testifying about, is technically perjury on your part. Since you have no idea of what we will actually say.
Q – How much do you charge?
A – Daniel Vomhof III’s time is billed out at $275/hour for all consultation work. Testimony (including but not limited to Deposition, Arbitration, and Trial), if required, is billed at a higher rate of $375/hour. An initial Retainer Deposit of $2400 is required along with a signed retainer agreement prior to our beginning work on any matter. Mr. Vomhof’s Retainer Agreement which outlines the rate schedule is included in the agreement can be downloaded from HERE.
Daniel Vomhof Ph.D.’s time is billed at out at $25o/hour for all consultation work. Testimony (including but not limited to Deposition, Arbitration, and Trial), if required and agreed to by Dr. Vomhof, is billed at a higher rate of $450/hour. An initial Retainer Deposit of $2400 is required along with a signed retainer agreement prior to our beginning work on any matter.
